Infection and inflammation from Lyme has definitely caused me some very interesting and peculiar symptoms.  Some of the afflictions have been tolerable and others downright scary to the point I would get rushed to ER because it felt like my whole body was falling apart.  I am a little embarrassed to display these pictures for the world to see but I believe it is so important to spread as much awareness about Lyme as possible.

The unfortunate people who are affected by the Lyme bacteria may just be considered the “lucky” ones if they notice the telltale bulls-eye rash on their body.  This is a promising sign so haul your butt to the doctor immediately and get your hands on a prescription of Doxycycline to wipe out the early infection.  Many people are not blessed with this first physical sign and therefore may not know the cause of their illness and spend years being misdiagnosed and searching desperately for an answer to their ill state of health.

These are just a few pictures that I have taken during my Lyme journey and I was oddly overjoyed to capture these “kodak moments” as they are virtually the only few physical symptoms the bacteria has caused me.  The majority off my symptoms are invisible and anyone who doesn’t know me would say I look just fine and would probably never realize I am living with a chronic illness.
